Terms of Use
Plain English, so you actually know what you are agreeing to. By using CedarKeep you accept these terms.
CedarKeep helps you plan and remember home upkeep. It is a helpful guide, not a substitute for a qualified professional.
What CedarKeep is
CedarKeep is a tool that helps you keep track of looking after your home: it builds a maintenance plan from what you tell us about your home, reminds you when things are due, and lets you tick them off. Some suggestions are made by simple rules; some are AI-assisted, and we label those clearly.
It is guidance, not professional advice
Our reminders and suggestions are general guidance to help you stay on top of things. They are not professional, engineering, or safety advice, and they cannot account for the exact condition of your home.
For anything involving gas, fuel, the flue, carbon monoxide, electrical work, the structure of your home, or the roof — always use a licensed professional. If you ever smell gas, suspect a carbon-monoxide leak, or face any emergency, stop and call the proper emergency service or a licensed pro right away. You are responsible for the decisions you make about your own home.
Your account
Keep your password private and do not let others use your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. Tell us through the feedback button if you think someone else has gained access. Please give us accurate information about your home so the plan can be useful, and use the service only for its intended, lawful purpose — not to attack, overload, scrape, or misuse it.
Money, links, and local pros
CedarKeep is free to use. We may earn a small commission if you buy a product through some of our links, at no extra cost to you, and those links are disclosed where they appear. Any local professionals we suggest never pay us — we earn nothing whether or not you hire anyone. The full money model is on our promises page.
No guarantees, and limits
We work hard to make CedarKeep accurate and useful, but we provide it “as is”. We do not guarantee that every suggestion is complete or right for your specific home, or that the service will always be available or error-free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, CedarKeep is not liable for loss or damage that results from relying on its guidance, from work done (or not done) on your home, or from the service being unavailable. Nothing here limits anything that legally cannot be limited.
Changes, and reaching us
We may update these terms as CedarKeep grows; when we do, we will change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will try to let you know. You can close your account at any time from your account page. Questions or concerns? Use the Feedback button on any page — we read every message.
